The Think Pink Tag (& Giveaway) **CLOSED**

Ever since I started blogging, I've been wanting to use my blog as a platform to contribute to causes that are dear to me... a small blog means small efforts, but meaningful nonetheless! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and what better place to spread the word about a pink-themed month than among the female blogging community? I am in no way an expert at the disease or the themed month, but I thought it'd be fun for us all to learn about it, pitch in our part to the cause, and have some fun too along the way.

So here's what I thought we could do...

THE TAG:

1) Pick out your favorite pink food, makeup, fashion, and random item.

2) Spread the message about breast cancer to a female friend/family in your life - the awareness, the symptoms, the checks, the healthy foods that helps prevent the disease... anything or everything! (I found this website that is a good place to start. Links to many helpful reads and resources)

3) Write a blog post about 1 & 2, linking back to this post (and/or grab the cute button above!)

4) Tag 3 of your blogger girlfriends to do the same

... random - pink skies during sunset (one of the things I miss most about LA)

I will be blogging more about spreading the message among the ladies in my life in the coming next to week, and invite you to do the same too.

I know this is a bit late... it's already mid October! But let's spread the word around for the next 2 weeks. Regardless of how far and wide this goes, it's nice to know we helped raise awareness this month by at least a bit - every little message counts!
