First off, a big "hello" and "thank you." Fee from MakeupSavvy gave a sweet shout-out to Blush and Brunch in her recent post which made my day. Her blog has been one of my favorite reads ever since I stumbled upon it back when I started blogging; I especially love her product reviews. Thank you Fee and hello to all my new readers :) I'm so happy to have you here with me, and I've been having fun checking out all your blogs as well. In case you're interested, I wrote a little about myself in a previous post (here), and an intro to Blush and Brunch in the "about" page.
Time seems to go by so quickly during Christmas and New Years, yet so so so slowly once January comes round. I find embracing winter and staying cozy really helpful in getting over the post-holiday blues. To me, winter time is all about keeping warm, staying hydrated and getting snuggly. And lots of comfort food of course. Here are some goodies I've recently been reaching for every day.
Sleeping Socks
I got these Panda sleeping socks from Korea for only USD$2. I've been wearing them while lounging around the house or when I sleep (I get cold feet a lot in the winter... literally). So soft, so cute, so warm, I love them. #pandaobsessed
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Honey
This treatment's formula keeps lips soft and moisturized for hours, perfect for chapped lips during the harsh winter. In the past I loved using the original and Rose tinted shades, but this week I started trying out the Honey shade and together with my lip color it gives a beautiful mauvey pink hue.
L'occitane Fleur Cherie Hand Cream
Hydrating and not greasy, this hand cream smells like cherry lollipops. One of my must-haves in my everyday purse.
Korres Guava Body Butter
This is the first thing I reach for when I get out of the shower. Best remedy for dry legs in the winter. My brief review of it here.
Chinese Tea
I'm a huge tea drinker, and during the cooler months I tend to crave Chinese tea the most. My recent favorite is Tie Guan Yin, a toasty, fragrant and flavorful Oolong tea. I buy mine at a Taiwanese tea store, but there are tons of sellers online.

that korres body butter is one of my absolute favourites :) it smells divine! x
ReplyDeleteI really want to try the Korres body butter! I've heard amazing things about it :) (and I also want to have a sniff haha). Love the socks!!

ReplyDeletesometimes i slather some of the korres body butter on my feet before slipping the socks on, but generally they feel so warm and cuddly just on their own too. i think bath & body works has a nice foot cream, even comes in sets with scrubs and socks, check them out ;)
