While technology has replaced letters with e-mails, diaries with blogs, and love notes with text messages, there's something about a good old planner that my iPhone calendar will never replace. I normally jot down my to-do lists and appointments on post-it notes or scrap paper (I'm messy like that), but since it's the new year I decided to keep organized properly and get myself a planner.
I came across this colorful floral planner at a local stationary/lifestyle store and it immediately grabbed my attention. I love how it's compact and light, perfect for throwing into my every day purse.
Now hopefully I can stick to using this and stay organized from now on... it's about time!

Aw it's such a cute-sized planner! Happy planning! :D
ReplyDeleteThis is such a super cute planner!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for one myself but I can't find anything that's really this cute, haha.
I just discovered your blog and it's so pretty :)
Followed with GFC!

ReplyDeleteI can relate to your love of writing notes, as apposed to using technological means. I also want a new diary/ journal and I'm loving the Frankie, although it's a little on the expensive side for what is ultimately a notebook :/ I'm going to keep an eye out for a pretty one though! x
ReplyDeleteahhh the frankie planner... i read about them on a blog today too and was so blown away.. they are so pretty! i had no idea they were pricey but they're definitely the prettiest planners i've seen!!
DeleteThat's such a pretty planner! I downloaded a couple of planner apps to my tablet before realising they're nowhere near as good as a physical one so I'm on the hunt for a good one now xx

i know how you feel, i tried using my iPhone calendar for a couple months but it just doesn't work for me. physical planners are the best x
DeleteThis diary is so lovely, and I totally know what you mean about phone diaries etc just not being the same! I would be lost without my filofax! xx
ReplyDeleteYour diary is so pretty! I need to buy a new one for 2013. I just followed you via Bloglovin :)x
ReplyDeleteI still use a diary c: I love
ReplyDeletewriting stuff so :P
xx
I had no idea how tiny and adorable that diary was until you put it next to your iPhone, this is so cute and yes you can defo toss it into any bag without it weighing you down. I luuuurve it. xx

Lovely book! x
ReplyDeleteI just bought a new planner at WalMart of all places. Mine is much larger - slightly bigger than the standard 8 1/2 x 11 notebook, but it has tons of room for writing lists and has both weekly and monthly pages, which is something I really wanted. I loved the Frankie planner too but cringed when I saw the price. I wasn't going to pay that much for something I might not stick to (this new planner is an extra one for home/blog to-do lists - I have another one that is for work).
ReplyDeleteYour planner is super cute. I hope it works out well for you!
that's a good idea having 2 separate planners for personal and work. yup i feel the same, the frankie planners are so nice but i definitely was looking out for the price when hunting for my planner... mainly coz i'm not sure if i will be able to keep up with using it for the rest of the year ;) hopefully i can!
DeleteI love your planner... so adorable!! Haha I wish my Moleskine one was that cute!
ReplyDeletei considered a moleskine planner too while shopping for this one :)
DeleteThats such a cute planner! I use a filofax to stay organised - I love that I don't have to change it each year and I can switch the pages around to suit me. As much as I love everything digital I can't cope with phone calenders - I just don't use them!
ReplyDeletehigh 5 to that, neither can i! i used to have a filofax-esque organizer too and loved the flexibility. maybe i'll give those a try when i get back into the swing of using planners
DeleteWhat a gorgeous book :)
ReplyDeleteI am such a note/list maker...I can't leave the house without a pen and note book. No form of technology will ever be able to replace it! :)
Elle xx
me too! i still use my phone for QUICK notes, but for planning, i still love my good ol' planner with crazy pens. hahaha...
ReplyDeletelove!
I LOVE planners and stationery, especially the cute ones like the one you have here. :)
ReplyDeleteI bought myself a new planner too! It's "Little Twin Stars" from Sanrio! :D
ReplyDeleteEmmy
Thats such a pretty diary! The diary I ordered hasn't arrived yet but I can't wait to fill it with 2013 plans!
ReplyDeleteI love how small it is! You're right, it's better to write down your agenda on paper than keeping it on your phone or mind :)
ReplyDeletei ageee, my iphone will never replace a diary journal!
ReplyDeleteu have a lovely blog! we should follow each other! <3
Great idea. I think I might get a small nice diary like yours. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty planner!! ♥ I love the floral design! :)
