I discovered Tide-To-Go a couple years ago and it has become a staple in my purse. It's basically fabric bleach in a pen. It has come in very handy since my boyfriend and I are messy eaters and get food on ourselves all the time. I don't carry much makeup with me except for my 3 touch-up essentials - lip gloss, concealer and a pencil liner. Specific products vary but this combo stays consistent in my purse. I currently love the Clarins Instant Lip Perfector for plump and glossy lips, Maybelline Mineral Concealer just in case any nasty spot decides to come visit, and Urban Decay 24/6 Eyeliner in Zero for touch-ups before last minute drinks and dinner plans.
There's a reason girls need purses while guys don't - we just have so.much.more.stuff that we need to keep in handy! I am a huge purse girl who loves to switch out of purses every couple days, so I find keeping all these small and miscellaneous possessions in a pouch really helps with switching purses and finding stuff in my bag, also known as a bottomless pit.
That's a really good idea having a pouch in your bag. I am the same, I love huge bags and I can never find anything when I want it...mine too is a bottomless pit! lol

ReplyDeleteI have to try that Maybelline mineral concealer... my Bourjois one is almost out and I've heard great things about the Maybelline one! I love seeing what's inside other people's "everything" pouches... looks like you have everything you need!!

DeleteI have that mirror! Scratches like a b*@ch! I'm dying for a Tide To Go pen but everyone I know who has one is American! Don't think we have an equivalent :(
ReplyDeleteyea the "marc jacobs" logo has worn off quite a lot now, but i love it coz the mirror itself is pretty light compared to other ones i've had, and i like that 1 side of it is magnified. ahhh i had no idea tide-to-go wasn't international, perhaps try online... ebay or amazon!

DeleteI have one of these "go-to" pouches, too!! I'll update with pics soon. Yours is so cute! I love those Tide sticks. Sometimes I even use those on caulk in my shower. It helps brighten up the whiteness and gets rid of those stubborn water stains.

Haha I also have a pouch that I carry around in my handbag, mine is a see-through pencil case though, your Cath Kidston case is much prettier, maybe I'll upgrade and get something a bit prettier x
