With the start of a new year, I've been trying to expand my choice of reading material beyond the usual chick flick romance novel. These 3 books top my non-fiction reading wishlist as they inspire and encourage in different ways.
Treasure Yourself by Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr is my favorite supermodel, I admire her gorgeousness but also her approach to healthy living. She was one of my first inspirations when it came to learning about nutrition and organic skincare. This national bestseller is her first book (she is working on a second one), and inspires healthy living in order to feel beautiful inside and out.
My Future Listography: All I Hope To Do in Lists by Lisa Nola
Listography books are not really reading material - they're more of categorized lists under a common theme for each book, which you fill in on your own. As a list-making fanatic this sounds almost too good to be true... why have I not known about these before? This specific Listography book inspires to take action and tick things off your bucket list. Get off that couch and make it happen!
20-Something, 20-Everything: A Quarter-life Woman's Guide to Balance and Direction by Christine Hassler
This book was written from personal experience, and inspires positivity and hopefulness in your 20s. It's great to have someone telling you that feeling lost even as an adult is okay.
Currently reading...
My bestie lent me her copy of "On Chesil Beach" recently, one of her recommendations from her favorite author Ian McEwan. So far so good, I like how this is a very dreamy and descriptive novel. I'm also finishing up "50 Shades Freed" (the last book of the oh-so-famous 50 Shades of Grey trilogy).
Please let me know if you have any good book recommendations :)
