Yay for a Monday off! Hong Kong is enjoying a 5-day (yes, five!) weekend to ring in the Lunar New Year, and so instead of writing my Organic Monday post after a long Monday workday, I am sipping tea in my pink bathrobe after a day of leisure hiking as I type this :)
Body wash or shower gels don't normally come to mind when I speak of organic skincare, especially because I tend to prefer splurging on face care instead of body products. I've never heard of Ren products until I got this Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash as part of my Christmas present from my boyfriend. After finding out that this body wash has won In Style's best body wash award 11 years in a row till 2013 (WOW), I was pretty excited to give this a try.
Rose Otto oil has calming and anti-inflammatory effects on skin, so it's great for dry, itchy or irritated skin during winter. Also the rose scent is known to relax and uplift, making it great for a soothing bath at the end of the day.
Unlike many other body washes I've tried, this one does not strip my skin of its moisture, and instead leaves skin smooth and soft. No tightness, no itchiness or dryness. The beautiful rose scent of this body wash fills your shower as you lather up, transforming your shower experience into a luxurious, pampering treat.
This body wash is paraben free, sulfate free, synthetic fragrance free, silicone free. It's amazing really. Down side is a 200ml of this body wash retails for £17. So as much as I'm in love with this, I think I'll save my tiny 50 ml travel size bottle left of this for when I feel like my skin deserves a treat.

I have tried a few REN products, I got they from a hotel we stayed at. You have to love hotel mini's hehe. This one sounds lovely, I think I will see if I can get my hands on a mini bottle, £17 isn't in my price range just now for shower gel lol. Great review :)
