I'm glad you ladies liked the coral lip & cheek combo that I blogged about last week as much as I did... I was inspired to play around with more matching lip and cheeks combos! In this post I'm featuring a much more subtle dusty rose shaded duo.
MAC Sheertone Blush in "Blushbaby" is one of my all time favorite blushes - it's a mauve pink, dusty rose color that can double up as a contour. I like to wear it slightly lower on the cheek than I would other blushes, blending it into the hollows of the cheek. It's the perfect blush to wear at an office-setting job because it's so subtle and understated, but still adds a lovely color to your complexion.
On my lips, I used my Dior Addict Lipstick in "#222 Beige Casual," a similar beige rose color that's slightly lighter than my natural lips. On my lips it shows up as a beautiful nude pink. It's very creamy, very hydrating, and very glossy (as you can tell from the picture below. I'm wearing only this lipstick on my lips - no lip balm, no lip gloss). It's as easy to wear as a lip balm - works perfectly on its own, moisturizes, and you don't even need a mirror to apply it. Only downside is it isn't the most long lasting.
I also secretly love it because of its shade number "222." 22 is my favorite number!
