I've been going through a pencil eyeliner phase for the past few weeks - the messier the better. I apply an imperfect, thin line along my lash line (using Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in "Zero"), then smudge it out with the Eco Tools Liner Brush for a softer look. This liner brush also applies the perfect amount of eyeshadow along the lower lash line.
With more downtime, I've been trying to finish up "The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks. If you're a Nicholas Sparks fan you need to get your hands on this one. It's one of his cookie cutter plots that gets me every time - a small town, a humble, honest man, an independent girl with a tough past, a heartwarming family component, and of course, a grand love story. I'll leave it at that.
I also pulled out a few mini candles I had lying around... they look so cute all lit together! I'm particularly impressed with the Slatkin & Co Creamy Pumpkin mini candle. Despite its tiny size, it actually manages to fill my entire living room with its sweet fall scent. Blown away.
Finally, I highly recommend the Sky Burger iPhone app if you're looking for a no-thinking-required type of game. Burger ingredients fall from the sky and you stack 'em as instructed. Who would have thought that would be so much fun? I do like burgers though.
